Description

No 195 on Castle Street is an 18th-century building featuring a painted brick facade and a hipped tiled roof. It stands two storeys tall and has three sash windows with glazing bars. The main entrance at No 195 includes a round arched doorway with a semi-circular fanlight and a door made up of six moulded panels, topped by a round window. The adjacent No 195A has a doorway adorned with pilasters, a pediment, and a door of six moulded and fielded panels. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 183 and 185, No 189, and Nos 193 to 201 (odd), as well as Nos 209 to 219 (odd) and Nos 200 to 204 (even) across the street.
