Description
This is an early 19th-century building on Castle Street. It has a stuccoed facade, an eaves bracket cornice, and a hipped slate roof. The building is two storeys high with a basement, and features three windows. These are mainly sash windows with glazing bars, with a small casement window in the centre of the first floor. Two ground floor bow windows, each containing two windows, flank a later 19th-century glazed porch with an iron balcony above. It forms a group with numbers 183, 185, 189, 193 to 201 (odd), 195A, 209 to 219 (odd), and 200 to 204 (even) on the opposite side of the street.
