Description

No. 211 on Castle Street is an 18th century to early 19th century house featuring a red brick facade with an eaves cornice and a parapet. The building has a hipped old tiled roof and stands three storeys tall with a basement. It has two windows, which are sashes with glazing bars and stuccoed lintels. The ground floor includes an early 19th century canted bay. The entrance door is set within a pedimented doorcase and has six panels, with the top two panels now glazed. This property is part of a group that includes Nos. 183 and 185, No. 189, Nos. 193 to 201 (odd), No. 195A, and Nos. 209 to 219 (odd), as well as Nos. 200 to 204 (even) opposite.
