Description
Narborough House is an 18th-century building located on Castle Street in Portchester. It is constructed of red brick with grey headers and features a parapet and a tiled roof. The house has two storeys and two bays that extend the full height of the building, with sash windows that include glazing bars. The entrance has a doorway flanked by pilasters and topped with a pediment, featuring a six-panelled door with moulded and fielded panels, where the top two panels are cut away and glazed. A modern window bay has been added in red brick to the south. Narborough House is part of a group that includes Nos 183 and 185, No 189, Nos 193 to 201 (odd), No 195A, and Nos 209 to 219 (odd), as well as Nos 200 to 204 (even) opposite.
