Description
No 190 on Castle Street is an early 19th-century building featuring a rendered facade that is grooved to simulate masonry. It has a hipped slate roof and stands two storeys tall. The first floor has two sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor has an outshut to the south, which contains a blocked-up second entrance. The main door is topped with a rectangular fanlight, and there is also a square bay shop window on the ground floor. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 162 to 174 (even), the street boundary wall at No 174, Nos 182 to 190 (even), and No 196, along with Nos 169 to 175 (odd), the railings and gate at No 169, and the street boundary wall at No 171.
