CASTLE STREET (West Side) Portchester No 197 SU 6204 11/212 II GV 2. C19 facade possible onto earlier building. Stuccoed with vermiculated quoins, cornice and parapet. 2 storeys. 1 window, C19 bay with unbarred sashes on both storeys. Door at north side of facade with modified Gibbs architrave and vermiculated keystone. Rectangular fanlight. Nos 183 and 185, No 189, Nos 193 to 201 (odd) and No 195A, Nos 209 to 219 (odd) form a group with Nos 200 to 204 (even) opposite.
