Description
Pear Tree Cottage is a small house built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and tile, featuring one storey and an attic, with two windows on the front (north) side. The roof is plain, with a catslide at the rear and a central stack. The walls have a lower section made of English bond brickwork, a middle section of Flemish bond, and a narrow top band of English bond. The openings are cambered, and the west gable is made of flint with brick dressings. The windows are cast-iron casements, and there is a boarded door set in a plain frame. The cottage is included for its group value.
