Description
Corner Cottage is a small house built in the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the late 19th and 20th centuries. The structure is made of brick and tile, featuring a symmetrical front on the south side with two storeys and two windows. The roof is plain with brick dentil eaves, and there is a slate roof of a lower pitch at the rear. The walls are constructed of red brick headers, with cambered openings on the ground floor, stone cills, and a cement plinth. On the west side, a wall made of flint with brick dressings and a tile capping extends to conceal an outshot. The windows are casements. The doorway features a plain stucco architrave and is enclosed by an open porch that has a gabled tile roof supported by posts. The door is a six-flush-panelled design with two top-glazed panels.
