Description

Fairways is a 17th-century cottage located on South Street in Ropley. The upper walls feature exposed timber framing with plaster infill, while the ground floor is constructed of flint with brick quoins and a high plinth band. The roof is hipped and thatched, with raised eaves above the central section and lower eaves over the outshot that projects from the west side. The north front has one storey and an attic, with two windows that contain old casements. There is a boarded door set in a plain frame, and another doorway has been filled with brickwork.
