Description

This stable, located 20 metres north-east of Oakhanger Farmhouse, was built in 1820. It features walls made of yellow carstone above a purple carstone plinth, with brick quoins and arches over the openings. The roof is hipped and tiled. The rectangular building has a symmetrical front facing south, with two storeys and two windows that have lunette casements. There is a boarded door set within an arched opening that has a filled spandrel. Above the door, there is a plaque inscribed with "BTA.82". The other sides of the building are similarly designed, with the west side displaying two lunettes above one lunette and a doorway.
