Description

Tunford Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 17th century and 18th century, with some restoration in the 20th century. The east gable and parts of the north and south sides feature exposed timber framing, with brick infill and other walling. The outshot along the north side is made of malmstone. The roof is thatched and hipped at the west end, with eyebrow dormers and a catslide extending over most of the north elevation. The cottage has one storey and an attic, with irregularly placed windows. The door is located within an open porch, which is created by extending the catslide roof eastwards, supported by a corner post.
