SELBORNE OAKHANGER ROAD SU 73 NE 2/17 Bins Cottage

House. C16, C18, and C20. Upper walls tile-hung for the most part, the north side being brickwork in Flemish bond, the lower walls of ironstone with brick quoins. Tiled roof. A late medieval timber frame, with C18 extensions and part re-cladding, and C20 minor alterations. Steep roof, with hips and a gablet. 2 storeys, irregular fenestration. The front (south-east) has 2 storeys, 3 windows. Casements, 2 rectangular bays. 2 plain doorways. Rear elevation: exposed framing with filling of brickwork, malmstone and ironstone: the north side is brickwork in Flemish bond, the south of ironstone with brick dressings. Small C20 brick porch.
