Description

April Cottage is a cottage that dates back to the 17th century, with 18th-century recladding and a 19th-century extension. The building features painted stone on the main structure, with a polygonal extension on the south side, brick quoins, and cambered arches. It has a half-hipped thatched roof, eyebrow dormers, and a catslide roof at the rear. The front (east) elevation is one storey high with an attic and includes four windows with casements, along with two plain doorways. The north and part of the rear walls display exposed framing with plaster infill, indicating that the front wall was originally attached.
