Description
Angerton is a cottage dating from the early 18th century, with 20th-century restoration and extension. The building features an exposed light frame with plaster panels in the upper part and painted brick infilling in the lower part, all resting on a high plinth. The walls are primarily made of brickwork. It has a half-hipped tiled roof, with eaves that are raised in waves above the dormers, indicating it was formerly thatched. The southeast elevation has one storey and an attic, with three windows and a west side outshot added in the 20th century. The windows are casements, and there is a plain door. Additionally, there are flat-roofed rear extensions from the 20th century.
