Description
This stable, located 25 metres north of Manor House Farm House, dates from around 1750. It is constructed from Doulting rubble with dressed quoins and features a pantile roof. The building is rectangular in shape, two storeys high, and has three bays. On the ground floor, there are two-light ovolo-moulded mullioned windows, while the first floor has a central hay-loft door set in a stone surround. The central doorway is framed by a massive chamfered stone architrave. The materials used in its construction were likely reused from the ruins of a former manor house located 400 metres to the northwest.
