Description
Ringstead Bury House Stable is a stable building dating from around 1800. It features a squared coursed carstone facade with rubble carstone returns and a central roof covered in black glazed pantiles, flanked by wings with red pantiles. The stable has a tripartite plan with a three-bay single-storey centre and lower single-storey wings on either side. The centre has two segmental tripartite casements and a central entrance with a 20th-century door, flanked by margin lights and topped with a segmental tripartite fanlight. All windows have two upright and two horizontal glazing bars, and there is brick rustication around the openings. The building includes two mounting blocks on either side of the door and a sundial above. It has brick quoins and a hipped roof. Attached to the east and west of the main structure are two single-bay wings, each with a single segmental tripartite window and hipped gables.
