Description
The Gin Trapp Inn is a public house dating from around 1700, with 19th-century details. It is constructed of whitewashed clunch with brick dressings and has a red pantiled roof. The building features a two-storey lobby entrance plan, with lean-to additions on the north and south sides.
On the ground floor, there are arched-headed casement windows, while the first floor has straight-headed casement windows. This includes two three-light windows on both the ground and first floors, as well as one single-light window on each floor at the south end, all featuring glazing bars. The building has axial and south end boarded doors, a brick dentil eaves cornice, and coped parapet gables, along with one axial and one south end gable stack. Additionally, there are two lean-to single-storey outshuts on the north and south sides, and a two-storey outshut at the rear.
