Description
Greenmount Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century that has been restored. It features a timber frame and a tiled roof, with two storeys and an attic. The roof is hipped and half-hipped, with a catslide at the rear, where there is also a gabled dormer and a shafted stack. The upper part of the walls displays exposed framing on two sides, with painted brick infill and other types of walling. The windows are casements, several of which have early 19th-century cast-iron diamond frames. There is a 20th-century brick porch and another projecting unit with a window, suggesting that the building was once used as two cottages.
