Description

The Barley Mow is a house dating from the 17th century, with restorations and additions made in the late 19th century. It features a timber frame with brick encasement at the bottom and tile hanging above. The roof is plain tiled and has end stacks. The building is two storeys high, with three leaded casement windows on the first floor and a ground floor window to the left, which is set under a camber arch. At the rear, there are three gabled wings that are one storey and have an attic, with tile-hung dormers. A planked door is located in a porch recess to the left of the centre.
