Description

The Holy Well of St. John the Baptist is a well from the 17th century located on Clews Lane in Bisley. It features square stone walls approximately 1½ feet high, topped with a 20th-century flat cement and stone cover. Spring water continues to flow through a small hole in the structure. The well is reputed to date back around 1000 years.
