Description

The Old Cottage is a 16th-century cottage that was restored in the 20th century. It features a timber frame set on a brick and stone plinth, with brick infill in the exposed frame, and has a thatched roof. The building is two storeys high and has curved braces on the left end, with a ridge stack located to the right of the center. On the first floor, there are three casement windows, with the center window extending through the eaves into the roof. The ground floor has three windows, one of which is a 20th-century leaded window on the right. There is a boarded door situated to the right of the center. Additionally, there is a single-storey extension to the left, which has a corrugated plastic pentice roof.
