Description
This is a barn located 20 meters south of Trottsford Farmhouse, dating from the early 18th century with an addition from 1815 and a restoration in the 20th century. The barn features a timber frame with seven bays, aisles, and central entrances, supported by a Queen post truss. It has a half-hipped tile roof and a gabled wagon entrance on the south side, while the north side has a recessed entrance. The walls are made of stone with brick dressings, and there are some slotted vents. The north side also includes a series of stores, east of the entrance, each with a Gothic doorway. A stone plaque in the north entrance reveals the date 1815, which is incised.
