Description
Riverside Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 18th century or earlier, which was formerly a cottage and outbuilding. The front elevation features painted brick on the left side and weatherboarding on the right side, while the rear elevation is timber framed with painted brick infill. The cottage has a hipped thatched roof with an off-central brick chimney stack and is one storey with attics, containing three windows. The front elevation includes two eyebrow dormers with casement windows, and the ground floor windows are also casements with cambered architraves. There is a gabled wooden weather porch on the left side with a tiled roof. The rear elevation has two casement eyebrow dormers and three casement windows. Inside, the cottage features exposed timbers, an open fireplace, and some wattle and daub on the walls.
