Description

Westerkirk is a house dating from the early and late 19th century. It is constructed of brick with a tiled roof. The front (south elevation) is symmetrical, featuring four windows over two storeys and a ½-hipped roof. The brickwork is in a Flemish bond pattern, with blue headers, and includes a plinth. The windows are sash windows in exposed frames; some are 20th century replacements. A 20th-century classical porch, constructed with two slender columns and two pilasters, provides access to the front door. Attached to the east side is a barn-like structure, which is partly old and features a timber frame, a ½-hipped tile roof, and walls that combine timber boarding with brickwork.
