Description

Kites is a house dating from the 17th century, with 20th-century extensions. It features a timber-framed structure with brick walls and a tiled roof. The north elevation has one storey and an attic, with four windows above five. The roof is half-hipped, and there is a lower extension on the west side. The house includes four gabled dormers with cills at eaves level and a shafted stack. The exposed frame has painted brick infill and other walling. The windows are 20th-century casements, and there is a 20th-century gabled brick porch. The south elevation is similar to the north.
