Description

The barn at Trotton Farm, originally listed as the stone barn at Trotton Place, dates back to the 17th century. It is constructed from stone rubble and features a ripped tiled roof. The barn has loop lights and a central wagon entrance on the north side, which is topped by a projecting hip. Inside, there is a continuous aisle with a queen-post roof construction, braced posts, and straight wind-braces. This barn and the other farm buildings are now separate from Trotton Place and do not have an adjoining farmhouse.
