Description
A pair of cottages dating from the late 18th century. They have brick walls and a thatched roof. The cottages are two storeys high and have four windows. The roof is hipped at the west end and slopes down to a low eaves above an outshot; the east end has a half-hipped design, revealing timber framing above a thatched outshot. The walls are constructed using Flemish bond brickwork with a thin band on the first floor. The ground floor openings are arched, and there’s a plinth band above a stone base; number 2 has been rendered. Casement windows are present. The doorway of number 1 has been altered into a window and now features a trellis porch, while the doorway of number 2 has been converted into a porch with a thatched roof.
