Description

The Cottage is an 18th-century cottage located on Husseys Lane in Lower Froyle. It features brick walls and a thatched roof, forming an L-shaped block with a single-storey unit in the gable. The symmetrical front, facing south, has two storeys and two windows. The roof is hipped at the east end, and at the rear, it extends to a lower eaves with tiling, connecting to the tiled roof of an extension. The upper front wall is tile-hung, while the other walls are constructed in English bond with blue headers, resting on a stone plinth. The cottage has casement windows and a French door situated beneath a thatched canopy supported by posts.
