WINSLADE HACKWOOD PARK Ice house approximately 25 metres to east of Garden Cottage

GV II

Ice house. C18/early-C19. Pink brick covered by earth. Circular domed chamber, below mound of earth, with entrance tunnel on north side. The dome is built in header bond. The tunnel is vaulted with a round-arched entrance. To the west is a second ice house.

A well-preserved C18/early-C19 ice house, and one of a pair.
