Description
Keeper's Cottage is an early 19th-century, two-storey square building featuring a low-pitched pyramid slate roof topped with a central chimney stack. The main (south) elevation is symmetrical, consisting of two windows and a central entrance. The walls are finished in stucco, with large coved eaves above a string moulding, and plain architraves around the window openings, which are topped with a moulded cornice. The windows have been replaced with modern casements. A solid porch at the entrance has a low-pitched slate roof, with a simple moulding along the verge and eaves supported by heavy brackets, leading to a semi-circular doorway. Some side windows have been made blank, and there is an old bay on the east side that contains a modern casement.
