Description
The Old Vicarage is an early 19th-century building with a symmetrical facade that features two storeys and a window arrangement of 1:3:1, with a central blank space. The building has a slate roof with hips on slightly-recessed wings. It is constructed of stucco, with the central section displaying a parapet topped with coping stones and a moulded band. There is a thin band at the first-floor cill level and a deeper moulded band that connects the ground floor openings. The building has a plinth, and the first-floor windows are sash windows with narrow side panes set in reveals. The half-octagon porch has been converted into a window, and on either side, there are projecting flat bays that contain French windows. The north side wing features a doorcase with a moulded cornice, a pulvinated frieze, an architrave, and a six-panelled door, along with an arched opening leading to a passageway.
