Description

Malthouse Cottage is a 16th and 17th century, two-storey timber-framed building located on Greywell Street. It features front and rear gables on the south side and has three windows. The cottage is topped with a red tile roof and has an old decorated bargeboard. The upper part of the front and the south end, as well as the rear and north gables, have exposed timber framing, with infill and other walling made of red brickwork, some of which is rendered. The building includes modern casements and doorways, along with some restoration work.
