Description
The statue located to the north-east of the Temple in Hackwood Park, known as Spring Wood, dates from the 19th century. It was moved to its current position around 1987 by Lord Camrose. The statue is made of ashlar and is set on a concrete podium. It depicts a draped female figure, although the lower part of the left arm is missing. The statue stands on a short pedestal that features simple mouldings at both the cornice and the base, and it is supported by a two-step 20th-century podium.
