Description
The urn on a pedestal at the south end of Chestnut Avenue is an 18th-century structure that was placed in its current location in the mid to late 20th century by Lord Camrose. It features ashlar stone on a concrete base and has a simple classical design with bold ornamentation. The pedestal is square and has two raised vermiculated panels on each face, along with a 20th-century plinth. The urn itself has been re-used from the kitchen garden wall.
