Description
The Teahouse Pavilion is a 19th-century square structure located in Hackwood Park, Winslade. It features plain sides and a Doric facade with four pilasters on the north and south faces, finished in stucco. The north front includes a central glazed door flanked by sash windows, while the south front has a central French window. The pavilion has a slate roof with gables that have a steep pediment form, and the Doric Order is fully-moulded above a plain plinth. It is believed to have been part of a conservatory at Hackwood that was demolished and then remodeled as a tea house, possibly by Lord Curzon.
