Description

Early 19th century, Home Farmhouse is a two-storey symmetrical building with a later extension on the west side, originally designed with a three-bay, two-window front. It has a hipped slate roof with a large chimney containing nine pots, deeply-coved plaster eaves, and a lower string moulding. The main north front is built of red brick in Flemish bond with red rubbed flat arches and stone cills, and a plinth. The short side elevations are constructed of yellow brick, forming flush quoins on the main facade. It features sashes with 25 panes in reveals. A small doorway has a solid frame and a half-glazed door, topped by a small, lead-covered open pediment supported by carved brackets. The narrower east elevation contains two windows. Group value is present in the setting.
