Description

The cartshed at House Farm dates from the 18th century and features a timber frame with 4.2 bays and a narrow north aisle. It is now connected to a modern block at the east end. The structure has a Queen Post truss with struts at the top and bottom of the main posts on the open south side. The roof is hipped and tiled, merging as a continuous roof with the new block to the east. The west and north walls are constructed of red brick.
