Description

The large barn at Wergs Farm, located 20 yards southeast of the farmhouse, dates from the 17th century. It features a timber-frame construction with nine bays and aisles, including waggon entrances at the third and seventh bays. The barn has a queen post truss supported by a brick base, with some higher brick walls between the aisle bays. The roof is hipped thatch, with hipped tile roofing around the entrances and above the aisle between the entrances. The walls are boarded.
