Description

The small barn at Wergs Farm, located 60 yards south of the house, dates from the 18th century. It features a timber-frame construction with five bays and aisles on all sides, along with central waggon entrances. The roof is made of corrugated asbestos, half-hipped at the east end and fully hipped at the west end. Inside, there is a queen post truss supported by a low brick wall, which serves as a plinth for the brick walling, constructed in English bond.
