Description

The barn at Wergs Farm, dating from the 17th century, is a timber-framed structure consisting of seven bays with aisles. It features a half-hipped roof made of corrugated iron and a queen post truss. The walls are boarded above a brick base, with brick walling around the south end. The east side of the barn is partly open, as the framing of the aisle wall has been removed, and the horizontal ties to the eaves plate are braced to the main posts.
