Description
No 1, No 3, and No 4 New Street are late 18th-century buildings. They feature a two-storey facade with full-height segmental bays symmetrically arranged on either side of a doorway, extending at the south side with an additional flat inset. The windows are arranged in a 1.1.1.1 pattern. The roof is covered with old tiles. The walls are made of painted brickwork with header bands, and there is a parapet, rubbed flat arches, and a plinth. The upper windows are sash windows in exposed frames, while the ground floor has modern multi-paned lights set below inserted beams. The doorway has a plain arch with a radiating fanlight and a later door. The south side unit features a wide modern opening.
