Description
The Feathers Public House is a building dating from the 17th century with modern alterations. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring one and a half windows. The roof is covered with red tiles and includes four gabled dormers. The structure is timber framed, with the frame exposed in the north gable, which was restored in the 20th century. The building has a jettied front supported by coupled brackets. The exterior has been modernised, with casement windows, including one first-floor sash window at No 3. The former entrance, which is now filled with a window, was flanked by coupled plasters and is located within a recess. The current entrance is situated in a recent single-storey wing that is set back at the north end.
