Description

Sunrise Cottage and Rose Cottage are two houses from the 18th century, located in the same range as the New Inn in Icklesham, Winchelsea. They are two storeys tall with an attic, featuring six windows and four dormers. The buildings are constructed of painted brick and include a stringcourse and a modillion eaves cornice. The roof is hipped and mansarded, covered with tiles. Sunrise Cottage has modern casement windows, while Rose Cottage has sash windows with glazing bars. Both houses have doorways topped with flat hoods supported by brackets, and the doors consist of four fielded panels.
