Description

Higham Cottage is a 17th century or earlier building located on Higham Green in Winchelsea. It is a two-storey and attic property with three south-facing windows and one window facing east. The ground floor is constructed of red brick, while the upper floors are tile-hung. The roof is tiled, with a mansard and half-hipped design, and incorporates a dormer window facing south. The windows are casement types, some with small square panes of glass. A doorway is distinguished by its moulded architrave surround and projecting cornice.
