Description

The Methodist Church was built in 1785 and is a small single-storey building featuring two windows. It is constructed of red brick and has a mansarded tiled roof. A brass plate on the building indicates that John Wesley preached there in January 1789 and delivered his last outdoor sermon in Winchelsea in 1790. Inside, there is a small gallery.
