Description

The ruins opposite the Methodist Church in the grounds of Mill Farm are the remnants of a medieval building that was incorporated into a later barn. Since the building was first listed, the barn has been demolished, leaving only the medieval ruins. The stone rubble walls stand about twelve feet high on the north, west, and south sides. Beneath the ruins is a vaulted cellar dating from around 1300. The site is designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
