Description
The ruinous outbuilding located to the east of Priory Farmhouse dates back to the medieval period and was originally one storey with a loft, featuring stone walls and a slate roof. The front wall and roof have been removed, leaving behind rubble stone end walls and a medieval internal back wall that includes two wide pointed arches with stone voussoirs and a flat wall-top. There are remains of a lean-to structure on the north side. An additional arch can be seen springing forward from the eastern end of the outbuilding, which also has a first-floor window with stone voussoirs. The western end gable is notably thicker at the ground floor and features a tall door leading to the first floor, positioned to the north of the center. Below this, there is a low ground floor door with a timber lintel. Internally, a rubble wall runs south from a pier located between the two arches, which has a flat top below the springing level of the arches.
