Description
Prospect House is a two-storey and basement semi-detached house, connected to No. 2. It is built from rubble stone and features a close-eaved slate roof with a 20th-century brick chimney stack located on the ridge between Nos. 1 and 2. The front elevation facing Church Terrace has three bays, with the right two bays positioned closer together. It includes long 19th-century four-pane horned sash windows with concrete sills. The upper windows are located under the eaves, while the lower windows are longer and feature stone voussoirs; the center window may have originally been a door. The tall east gable-end wall has a battered base, a basement door with stone voussoirs, and a 20th-century window inserted to the right. The south side has a large 20th-century wing on the left. The right side features a uPVC window in the basement on the right. There are steps leading up to a ground floor 20th-century door on the left, which has a concrete lintel, and a first-floor four-pane sash window under the eaves.
