Description
The West Hill Lift, built in 1902, features a stuccoed entrance on George Street with pilasters, a round arch doorway, and a balustrade. It includes a red brick tunnel that the tracks pass through, leading up to West Hill, which is situated high above. The upper terminus is part of a modern building that houses a café and other facilities. All listed buildings on George Street are recognized as a group.
