Description

The North Tunnel Entrance of Linslade Tunnel, built in the mid-19th century, features a red brick castellated retaining wall. It has three horseshoe arches with moulded surrounds, with the central arch being taller than the others. The structure is adorned with seven semi-octagonal embattled turrets. This entrance is an interesting example of early railway architecture.
